This privacy policy applies to Seth Randall (Professional DJ & Entertainment), a sole proprietor operating in Cape Town, South Africa. Contact: [email protected].
What information we collect
When you submit a booking enquiry, we collect:
- Your name, email address, and phone number
- Event details (date, type, venue, times)
- Sound and lighting requirements
- Estimated guest count and entertainment budget (optional)
- Any special requests you provide
Why we collect it
Your information is used solely to:
- Respond to your booking enquiry
- Prepare and deliver a personalised quote
- Coordinate the DJ services for your event if confirmed
How it's stored
Your information is stored securely in a Supabase (Postgres) database hosted on infrastructure in the European Union. It is not shared with any third parties, sold, or used for marketing purposes. Access is restricted to Seth Randall only.
How long we keep it
Booking enquiries are retained for 12 months after the event date (or 12 months after submission if the booking was not confirmed), after which they are permanently deleted.
Your rights (POPIA)
Under the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA), you have the right to:
- Request a copy of the personal information we hold about you
- Request correction of inaccurate information
- Request deletion of your information
- Withdraw consent to processing at any time
